I hate this option but it’s a realistic one. My issue with Brock as the winner is that he doesn’t need it. Let’s use the rumble to create new stars not add accolades to old ones. It’s a realistic option nonetheless.
Over the last year or so it feels like Styles hasn’t done much of anything. I think everyone is ready to see him split from Omos and go back to being one of the best wrestlers in the world. The perfect way to solidify Styles as a main event player again is having him win the rumble and challenge Big E for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.
When Balor got drafted to Raw it was reported by multiple sources that a writer from the creative team wanted to use him in a Drew McIntyre type of role on Raw as a top BabyFace. In a company that lacks credible BabyFace’s it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Finn can win the rumble and really solidify himself as a top guy. A potential matchup with Big E seems intriguing especially for fans that want to see Balor finally get the main event push he deserves.
Rumors have been going wild that Walter is no longer against a move to the United States. Pictures of Walter have been going around and he looks like he is in fantastic shape. It’s become clear that Hardy will eventually challenge Reigns after the battle royal tease on the Black Friday edition of Friday Night Smackdown and the rumble might be the perfect opportunity to set it up.
