REVIEW

One of Quentin Tarantino’s best films IMO. I caught myself clapping at a variety of different scenes during this movie. This is simply just a very well made film and a great story with likeable characters, brutal violence, and witty dialogue. It has a well done mixture of violent savage altercations with funny moments and conversations. The gist of this movie is that Christopher Waltz character, Dr. King Schultz is a bounty hunter and basically tells Django *a slave* that if he helps him find these men he is hunting down, he will help Django be a free man. They hunt down the men Schultz is looking for then end up going on the hunt for Django’s wife. Both Jamie Foxx and Waltz played their roles perfectly and their characters were BADASS. This is really just a cool and fun movie. Quentin Tarantino violence is always fun. It is like a Mortal Kombat type of vibe but on the big screen. One thing I absolutely love about Tarantino is that he is such an unapologetic writer and filmmaker. This is very rare in the filmmaking business. Seeing Leonardo DiCaprio playing a slaveowner was quite the scenery change as I am not used to seeing him in such a negative type of role, but he played the part perfectly. I love everything about this movie. It’s part bounty hunter quest/ on a quest for revenge/ on a quest for justice which makes it so much fun. I highly recommend this movie for any Tarantino fans or fans of film in general.
