Chris Paul resigns with Houston Rockets.
Nine time All Star Point Guard Chris Paul has re signed with the Houston Rockets on a four year, $160M contract.
Paul George resigns with Oklahoma City Thunder.
All of the rumors of PG to the Lakers were false. George has signed a four year, $137M max contract with the Thunder.
Nikola Jokic resigns with Denver Nuggets.
Star Power Forward/Center Nikola Jokic is returning to Denver. Jokic signed a five year, $148M max contract to return to the Nuggets.
Dallas Mavericks sign Deandre Jordan.
Former Los Angeles Clippers elite Center has signed a one year deal approaching the $24.1M option from the Clippers for next season.
Trevor Ariza signs with Phoenix Suns.
Former Houston Rockets Small Forward Trevor Ariza has agreed to a one year $15M deal with the Phoenix Suns.
LeBron James signs with Los Angeles Lakers.
The biggest question of this years offseason has been answered. LeBron James is officially a Laker. James has signed a four year, $154M deal with the Lakers.
Los Angeles Lakers sign Lance Stephenson.
The Lakers have signed Shooting Guard Lance Stephenson to a one year, $4.5M deal. It is going to be very interesting seeing him and LeBron play together.
Javale McGee signs with Los Angeles Lakers.
Another signing for the Lakers. Former Golden State Warriors Center Javale McGee has agreed to a deal with the Lakers.

Julius Randle signs with New Orleans Pelicans.
After asking the Lakers to renounce his rights, Julius Randle signed a two year, $18M deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Golden State Warriors sign Demarcus Cousins…
Three time All Star Center Demarcus Cousins has agreed to a one year, $5.3M deal. I have no words.

Carmelo Anthony to leave OKC this summer.
Melo is planning on leaving the Thunder this summer. Getting rid of Anthony would likely save the Thunder over $100M.
Tony Parker signs with Charlotte Hornets.
Former Spurs veteran Point Guard Tony Parker has agreed to a two year, $10M deal with the Charlotte Hornets.

Brooklyn Nets trade Jeremy Lin to Atlanta Hawks.
The Brooklyn Nets have traded PG Jeremy Lin, a 2025 second-round pick, and the right to swap picks in 2023 to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the rights to second round-pick Isaia Cordinier and a 2020 second round pick (via Portland).
PG Isaiah Thomas agrees to deal with Denver Nuggets.
Former Los Angeles PG Isaiah Thomas has agreed to a one year, $2M deal with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are now the fifth team Thomas has played for.
Denver Nuggets trade PF Kenneth Faried to Brooklyn Nets.
Denver makes another move tonight. The Nuggets have traded PF Kenneth Faried, SF Darrell Arthur, and a 2019 protected first-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets for Isaiah Whitehead. By making this trade the Nuggets have unloaded $21M in salary and are planning on waiving Whitehead.

Chicago Bulls sign PF Jabari Parker.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Power Forward Jabari Parker has agreed to a two-year, $40M deal with the Chicago Bulls.
PG Shabazz Napier signs with Brooklyn Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets and Point Guard Shabazz Napier have agreed to a two-year deal.

Spurs trade SF Kawhi Leonard to Raptors for SG DeMar Derozan
Kawhi Leonard is finally out of San Antonio. The Spurs have traded Leonard and Danny Green to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Demar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a 2019 protected first-round pick.

Thunder trade SF Carmelo Anthony to the Hawks.
Carmelo’s wish has been granted. The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Carmelo Anthony and a 2022 protected first-round pick to the Atlanta Hawks for PG Dennis Schroder and Mike Muscala. Anthony will be waived by the Hawks and now can sign with the team of his choosing. He is getting his entire $27.9M in buyout/waiver from the Hawks. Great move by OKC.

Former Knicks SF Michael Beasley agrees to deal with Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Michael Beasley have agreed to a one year, $3.5M deal. This is a great pick up for L.A as Beasley is a tremendous bench player that averaged 13.2 PPG, 1.7 APG, and 5.6 RPG last season coming of the bench in New York.
Boston Celtics resign SG Marcus Smart.
As a Celtics fan, I am very pleased they have finally reached an agreement to bring back Marcus Smart. Boston has resigned Smart to a four-year, $52M deal. He is a great player that’s talents go way behind the stat line, he is one of the most underrated players in the league.

Carter is coming back for his 21st season in the NBA. The Atlanta Hawks signed him to a one-year, $2.4M deal.

Rockets resign star C Clint Capela.
The Houston Rockets have reached an agreement with Clint Capela to resign on a five-year, $90M deal.
August 8th, 2018
Pelicans sign Center Jahil Okafor.
The New Orleans Pelicans have officially signed the third pick from the 2016 NBA draft, Jahil Okafor. The deal is a two-year partially guaranteed contract with the second year being a team option.
