It is currently three days after the season two finale of The Mandalorian and the spoiler ban has been lifted. This means I can now talk about that awesome post credits scene teasing a new Disney + series coming in December 2021, The Book of Boba Fett. In the post credits scene we saw Fennec Shand arrive in Jabba’s Palace and clear house. Boba Fett arrived a moment later and then took out Bib Fortuna who was seated on Jabba’s throne. Boba and Fennec then take over the throne and we are left on a cliffhanger as to what is next. Lot’s of people were confused as to if this series would be it’s own spinoff series, or would actually be season three of The Mandalorian. This morning Jon Favreau confirmed on GMA that it will be it’s own separate show and season three of The Mandalorian will go into production right after they’re done with The Book of Boba Fett. Favreau also revealed the logo for the upcoming spinoff series. *provided below*

This is great news for all Star Wars fans. This means we’re getting yet another series on Disney + and this one will be focusing on one of the most interesting and beloved Star Wars characters, Boba Fett. Some things I hope to see in this spinoff series are Boba escaping the sarlacc pit, what he does after escaping the sarlacc pit, what he is doing up until he meets up with Din Djarin in season two of Mando, and maybe going on some missions/adventures with Fennec Shand. He now seems to be ruling Jabba’s Palace so I am sure he will also have his fair share of run ins with some bounty hunters. A return from Bossk or Dengar could be possible, but I very much would love to see Cad Bane in live action. This series has so much potential to be great and with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Robert Rodriguez producing it that pretty much guarantees we’ll be getting something amazing.
