This years Most Improved race might be the best in awhile. Guys like Luka Doncic, Duncan Robinson, Jaylen Brown among others have made this years race the best in recent memory. Here are my top 3 candidates for the Most Improved Player!
If I’m being completely honest I didn’t know much about Devonte Graham last season. He didn’t play enough minutes last season behind Kemba to truly make an impact. With his minutes up from 14 to 35 Graham proved to be a great shooter and scorer for his team averaging 18.2 PPG on 38% shooting. But even with a dramatic scoring increase it hasn’t translated to wins for his team with the Hornets finishing their season 23-42.
Many would say that Jimmy Butler is the best player on the Miami Heat but I believe that Bam Adebayo is. Bam has such an impact on the way the Heat play. He is one of the best passing centers in the NBA and I truly believe he is a consistent jump shot away from becoming a superstar on the offensive end. On the defensive end this season he was able to guard 1-5. Bam averaged 16.2 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 5.1 APG. He’s certainly became an elite rebounder and his the reason the Heat had success this season. On a 4th seed team in the East Bam is my front runner.
