WWE Survivor Series 2021 Predictions

After a surprisingly great PPV last month in Saudi Arabia WWE hasn’t done a great job in setting up this years Survivor Series. The event feels like a throwaway but that won’t stop the talent from putting on some fantastic matches. Here are my predictions for this Sunday’s Survivor Series:

WWE Champion Big E vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns

As our WWE champ would so elegantly say this isn’t going to be a 5 star classic, what we’re looking at here is ‘big meaty men bumping meat.’ Two of the biggest powerhouses in WWE just going at each other is going to be something special. Although Big E has been a great champ at the beginning of his run there’s zero chance he defeats Reigns clean, Roman is on one of the greatest title runs in modern WWE history and I believe that will continue after the tribal chief beats Big E on Sunday. Roman Reigns Wins!

5-on-5 Men’s Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory) vs. Team SmackDown (Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Woods, Happy Corbin, Sheamus)

I’m going to be completely honest here how could anyone possibly care about this match. The buildup has been absolutely horrible. Survivor Series is only a few days away yet we still have no idea who the 5th member of team Smackdown is going to be. That’s besides the point though, there’s a lot of great talent in this match and I’m excited to see a young guy with star potential like Austin Theory get an opportunity to work with top guys. I can see this match going either way but with how stacked the Raw team is it would be a huge mistake to have them lose to an honestly underwhelming Smackdown team. Team Raw Wins!

5-on-5 Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Queen Zelina) vs. Team SmackDown (Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi, Natalya, Toni Storm)

Another match that’s been hard to care about on this card. These 5v5 matches have been the hardest to predict for years now and nothing has changed this year. I think Raw has the stronger booked team though so that’s my choice. Team Raw Wins!

Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair

I bet I know exactly what your thinking right now. “Ugh Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch for the 1000th time when is the fed going to give us something fresh.” (Was I right?) Usually I would feel the same way but not in this case. After the title exchange on Smackdown a few weeks ago I got completely reinvested into the story of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. WWE using the real life heat between the two has been excellent and the constant shots being thrown at each other has made for some interesting content. As far as the match itself goes we know these two never disappoint in the ring together. Becky Lynch has been absolutely incredible since returning at SummerSlam and with rumors of Charlotte being difficult to work with backstage I could see Becky Lynch defeating Charlotte Flair clean. Becky Lynch Wins!

Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle) vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos

The WWE tag team division has been very weak over the past few years but one team that always stands out is the Usos and after joining the bloodline it seems they’ve elevated their game to the highest of heights. RK-Bro however just stormed on the scene this year and have been nothing short of fantastic, Riddles comedic character mixed with Randy’s constant anger has made for great tv. Four very talented superstars will be going at it in a match that could steal the night. The Usos Win!

United States Champion Damian Priest vs. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura

Damian Priest Vs. Nakamura is going to be an absolute banger! WWE has done a fantastic job building up Priest since his main roster debut in January and I think they will continue to book him as dominant United States Champion. On the other side of things Nakamura has done nothing since winning the IC belt, he’s only defended it a hand full of times and has been pinned multiple times on Smackdown in non title matches since winning the belt. I think you know where I’m going with this. Damian Priest Wins!
